BIOGRAPHY

A Life Stylist/TV Personality and Voice-Over talent, who offers menu and entertaining ideas along with great side “dish” and attitude, Judy Ludy combines big city style with small town charm.

The youngest of three children, she grew up in a rural town in Southwestern Michigan.  As a young girl, she learned old school cooking techniques working in her grandmother’s kitchen.  As a teenager, Judy watched and studied Julia Child and Graham Kerr. From Julia she learned technique and etiquette; from Graham, entertaining with style. A fan of classic film stars, she studied actresses such as Gloria Swanson, Joan Crawford, and Elizabeth Taylor, to acquire a sensibility for the manner and grace of a more elegant time.

After graduating college, Judy moved to California where she made her first television appearance on the game show Supermarket Sweeps”; this is where her desire for the entertainment business began.

Judy later moved to Los Angeles and while working for Warner Bros. Studios, honed her acting and entertaining skills by taking several voiceover workshops and landing a role in an independent animated film.

Her “on-camera” success grew when she guest-starred in a segment for “Calling All Cooks” on the Food Network. This led to being awarded the task of providing themed menu ideas for the Rose Ceremonies on the ABC hit “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”. She then did a gossip segment with Ben Stein for his pilot “The Ben Stein Show”, made a seductive Sunday brunch with Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway on SoapNet’s “SoapTalk”, dished the dirt with Sharon Osbourne on The Sharon Osbourne Show, and made her debut pilot, “Judy Ludy Hollywood Temp” for 44 Blue Productions.  Her most recent appearances include “Brunch” on Q Television Network, where she made her signature dishes with hosts Scott Withers and Honey Labrador.

Judy resides in Los Angeles where she entertains and dispenses her unique brand of humor and advice.  She’s currently working on her first book, is busy with voice-overs and on-camera commercials, and corresponds with her fans through her website www.judyludy.com
