Dear GH:
I, too, have asked this same question. For those of you not familiar with the current story line on GH, Kelly’s character (Sam) has been captured by this woman (Allegra) who has a daughter (Ali) who looks exactly like Sam. Allegra is forcing Sam to pretend she’s Ali, and go through with a marriage that Allegra has pre-arranged for Ali, who of course, won’t go through with it herself. The asinine part is, Sam has to walk, talk and DANCE like Ali (the real daughter) in order to get the fiancée to believe it’s truly Ali, not Sam posing as Ali. Of course, this means we are made to sit through endless days of watching Sam “learn how to dance”, as she doesn’t know how because she’s a con-artist by trade.

Are you kidding me? Kelly Monaco wins Dancing With the Stars (on ABC) and now her character on GH (on ABC) has to ballroom dance to save her boyfriend from certain death. And the trades today carry the story that Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo will have a dance rematch with John O’Hurley and Charlotte Jorgensen on Sept. 20th. Coincidental my ass!
