Dear Confused:
I’ve reviewed both, and have to say, my preference is Bon Appetite. Not only are their recipes better, they are easier to follow for the cook who is just starting out. They also have many more recipes per issue. Gourmet seems a bit stuffy and pretentious.
I would spend my money on Bon Appetite and get busy in the kitchen!
The Ludy-ism…Just because it’s on sale, doesn’t mean it’s the best or we need it!
