I spent the last 2 evenings watching The Westminster Dog Show on USA Network, which was broadcast live from Madison Square Garden in New York.  Yes, I know some may think it’s boring, but I love to watch those champion dogs; and the commericials with all those puppies bring tears to your eyes!  Bulldog puppies and Bassett Hound puppies are so damn cute; even the coldest of hearts would melt.  Who doesn’t love a puppy!

Anyway, a Bull Terrier (Colored), named Rufus won, and he really is a stunning dog.  Check him out at their website and see for yourself.   http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/  He’s now strutting himself around New York City making appearances today; first stop was Good Morning America, and I just watched him on Martha.  After Martha, he was off to a special luncheon being held in honor of him, where he will be served a delightful lunch of ground sirloin; he’s a fancy dog indeed!

Mr. Ludy and I loved the Dalmation as well, simply because of the way he struck his pose; however, Rufus won Best in Show because apparently he has the perfect head.  Who knew!

Ahh, the life of a champion dog….perhaps that’s what I’ll be in my next life!
