Thank God those in charge of production (namely Producer Gil Cates) of the Academy Awards have come to their (his) senses and won’t repeat the dumb-ass idea of having the award winners pick up their Oscars and making their acceptance speeches in the aisle; an asinine idea from the get go!
Think about it. You work all your life in your chosen profession, be it acting, producing, directing, etc. to receive this coveted award, and you have to make your acceptance speech in the aisle of the theatre, all while trying to remember who you want to thank and trying to balance yourself on a narrow staircase with a camera crew in your face….ridiculous!

Then with all the rumors swirling about TomKat being no more, here’s my prediction — they never get married; just discuss it, act out the charade of making plans, then call it off at the last minute. There’s been no date announced yet, which is odd for 2 people so madly in love. He then takes full custody of the child, and she goes on with her movie career to become a bigger actress, just like all the other Mz. Cruises before her. I’m just saying…
And lastly, kudos to Bruce Willis for blasting Oprah for her public crucifixion of James Fray a couple of weeks ago. Seems I’m not the only one that doesn’t buy into the “Oprah Cult” of everything Oprah! Bruce made it very clear he feels she had her own motivation for the public chastising, but also makes it clear he has great respect for the things she does all over the world. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/11374136/
Please…I too, believe she does wonderful things for the world and humanity. However, I’m not naive enough to think she does them out of pure selflessness.
