Monday Box Office Review

Written on Monday June 12, 2006

Looks like Disney/Pixar’s CARS lead the race this weekend at the box office with an estimated take of $62.8 million dollars…very impressive!  THE BREAK UP followed next with another $20.5 million, bringing it’s total to $74.1 million, and in week three, X-MEN took in another $15.6 million ($201.7 million total).

I’m still waiting for SUPERMAN RETURNS (6/28/06).  Other than that….i’ll stay in and continue to read DESPERATE NETWORKS by Bill Carter.  You won’t be able to put it down.

And for a good I-need-a-book-to-read-at-the-beach, I just finished Jackie Collins Lovers and Players.  It was released several years ago, but apparently, it slipped through my radar.  I am an AVID Collins fan…have read every one of her novels.  They are an easy and fun read, and an excellent no-brainer!
