Rumor has it that one of Daytime’s most beloved couples, Luke and Laura Spencer, will be reuniting in October of this year in time for their 25th wedding anniversary.  Of course the soap opera I’m speaking of is “General Hospital”.

Genie Francis (who plays Laura) left the show in 2002 after the marriage of “Luke” (played by Anthony Geary) and “Laura” fell apart.  Storyline details have not yet been released.

Stay tuned…I remember when Luke raped Laura in the campus disco back in 1979.   It’s the music I remember the most, not the actual scene; Herb Alpert’s, “Rise”.  That scene was the starting point of their entire love affair. 

I remember it clearly to this day.  You can bet I’ll be setting my TIVO to record their reuniting!
