It’s the 4th of July today! A day when we celebrate our nations independence. A day to turn off our cell phones, computers and television, and just enjoy ourselves!

Mr. Ludy and I are headed to Malibu for a little picnic and rest. Later in the evening, we’ll enjoy the fireworks display that Universal Studios puts on each year. We have a great view from our front yard. Usually we throw our annual crab boil, but not this year. It’s been too damn hot to be outside, and you know how miserable that makes me!

I suggest you get out and enjoy the day with family and friends. It’s a day to be thankful for all the excellent freedoms and opportunities we have here in the States!
