The Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on August 27th, 2006 at the Shrine Auditorium, in Los Angeles; NBC will broadcast them.  The good news is Conan O’Brien will be hosting the show, which should liven things up tremendously!  Otherwise, they can often be a snooze-fest! What a brilliant choice; the man is a comic genius and always superb at hosting award shows!

He certainly gets my vote!
