Monday Morning Box Office

It was ridiculously HOT outside this weekend, all across the country! Perhaps that’s why PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN was so HOT at the box office AGAIN this week.

Taking the No. 1 spot, Buena Vista’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST, took in another $62,186,000, which brings it’s 2 week total to $258,205,000. Some movies don’t even debut at what this movie took in over the past week.

No. 2 is LITTLE MAN (Sony) with an opening debut of $21,700,000, which suprising beat out hunky Owen Wilson’s debut movie, YOU, ME AND DUPREE (Universal) opening at $21,338,000, and coming in at #3.

No. #4 is SUPERMAN RETURNS (Warner Bros) in it’s 3rd week, bringing in $11,620,000, and taking it’s total to $163,648,000.

And in at No. 5 is THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA (20th) bringing in another $10,450,000, bringing it’s total to $83,554,000.00
