So I hear that pearls are replacing diamonds as the MUST HAVE jewelry.  

Hmmmm….I wonder if everyone at Nerdfest 2006, aka The San Diego Comic Convention, or as the diehard geeks refer to it, ComicCon 2006, will be wearing them over their Star Trek and Superman costumes?    

I suspect not, as that would make them Chic Geeks, and their Geek-osterone membership cards could be revoked!   I shall see on Friday and Saturday and report back, as I’ll be attending with Mr. Ludy this weekend.  

Oh, brother… what was I thinking! 

Anyway, run out and get yourselves some peals; it’s the latest fashion trend and you mustn’t be out of the fashion loop! 

FYI – Pearls will NEVER replace diamonds in JudyLudyLand.  Sure, the occasional use of a strand or two here and there is totally acceptable, but give up diamonds?   No way!
