Emmy Award-Winning and Academy Award-nominated actor, Jack Warden, died last Wednesday at a hospital in Manhattan, at the age of 85. He was best known for his roles as hard cops and even harder coaches.

You may remember him as Chicago Bears Coach, George Halas, in BRIAN’S SONG, a classic football movie. He had so many brilliant character roles throughout his career, I can’t begin to name them all.
