Monday Morning Box Office

TALLADEGA NIGHTS (Sony) raced to the top of the box office again this week, taking No. 1 with an estimated $14,100,000; making it’s accumulated total $114,686,000 in 3 weeks.

SNAKES ON A PLANE (New Line Cinema) slithered to No. 2 with $13,850,000 in it’s first weekend of release.

No. 3 was WORLD TRADE CENTER (Paramount) taking in another $10,800,000; making it’s accumulated total $45,005,000 in 2 weeeks.

No. 4 was ACCEPTED (Universal) about a college bound guy who gets rejected from several colleges and decides to start his own, took in $10,112,000 in it’s opening weekend.

No. 5 was STEP UP (Buena Vista) taking in $9,867,000, and giving it a total of $39,448,000 in it’s second weekend.
