Chairman of Viacom, Inc., Sumner Redstone, in a bold decision yesterday, has severed ties with Tom Cruise and his production company after 14 years on the Paramount Lot, and has chosen not to renew the production company’s contract.  Of course the Cruise camp said he was set to leave anyway after negotiations broke down last week, but it makes you wonder…was it his behavior that put him in hot water?  

I suspect it WAS Tom’s behavior over the last year that helped Paramount loose millions in revenue on his movies, i.e. MI:3.  I know myself, I thought twice about going to see a Cruise movie, simply because of his crazy-ass behavior.  It truly did make me not go see the flic.
