Monday Morning Box Office

Written on Monday October 30, 2006

It’s Halloween weekend, so what’s more appropriate than a horror flick coming in No. 1 at the box office.

SAW III (Lionsgate) came in a No. 1 with $34,000,000 for a thrilling debut. Not my kind of movie..won’t be seeing it.

No. 2 is THE DEPARTED (Warner Bros) pulling in another $9,840,000 and bringing it’s 4 week total to $91,090,000.

No. 3 is THE PRESTIGE (WB Int’l, Buena Vista Pictures) taking in another $9,626,000, bringing it’s total to $28,834,000.

No. 4 is FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS (WB Int’l, Dreamworks SKG) with $6,350,000, and making a total of $19,926,000 in it’s second week.

No. 5 is OPEN SEASON (Sony) taking in another $6,1000,000, and bringing it’s total to $7,357,000 in it’s 5th week of release.
