Here’s something interesting…
Both Prince William and Prince Harry are in the Queens Royal Army and combat trained. However, Prince William, because he is second in line to the thorn (his father, Prince Charles, is first in line behind his mother, the Queen) cannot be sent to war zones. His younger brother, Prince Harry, third in line to the throne, doesn’t have that stipulation on him, and is being prepared for possible deployment to Iraq.
What’s that all about? Aren’t you supposed to protect your younger brother? It’s not like he chose to be the second born son. It doesn’t make him expendible. Since they are both heirs to the throne, shouldn’t they both be kept out of combat, or both be sent in?
The Royal Monarchy…sometimes it makes you wonder.
