It’s Tabloid Time again, and this week the Enquirer isn’t too promising!  More stories about Kirstie Alley’s weight; Katie’s supposed plastic surgery and details of the car crash Brandy had.

Let’s get started…

Rumor has it that Sara Gilbert, who played Darlene Conner on “ROSEANNE” is 3 months pregnant with her second child.  Her partner, 32 year old actress and TV writer/producer, Allison Adler is said to be thrilled.

Not such a good picture of Goldie Hawn while playing tennis.  She’s looking every bit her 61 years (page 2).  But really, who looks glamorous while exercising!

Jessica Simpson’s new man appears to be rocker John Mayer.  She’s apparently gone on tour with him, and it’s said the couple will be moving in together soon.  I wonder if she’s gotten permission from her father…

Ah, the tables have turned.  According to the Enquirer, Britney is BEGGING K-Fed to take her back.  She’s promising him millions of dollars, will seek counseling, and even stop partying.  Does it ever end with these two…?

And again this week, reports are still swirling that Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira are definitely not getting along.  Matt’s apparently not playing so nice!

Also in the WEF (Worst Enemy Forever) category, Rosie and Oprah are apparently entering a feud, or at least according to the Enquirer, Rosie is after Oprah, for what she calls “shamelessly exploiting kidnap victim Shawn Hornbeck - by bombarding him and his family with personal questions shortly after his release”.  Rosie’s alleged words and the Enquirer’s words folks, not mine.

Experts are saying (again, I ask, who ARE these experts) that Katie has undergone nose, chin implants and dental work, all to please her man, Mr. Cruise.   I must say, she does look older in the photos (page 21) and I don’t think make-up alone can do this kind of dramatic upgrade.   Her publicists are denying any rumors of plastic surgery; but this  town’s motto is deny everything; and when that happens, you know it’s true!

Oh, please…enough with the Kirstie Alley weight story.  She’s always going to be up and down with her weight, like most normal women in America.  Does it matter more, just because she’s a celebrity?

And this next story should tell you about America’s obession with weight loss.  Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has apparently introduced the very first diet drug for dogs…pleeeaaaze! It’s name is Slentrol, available by prescription only (where have I heard that before), and it supposedly suppresses your dog’s appetite and blocks fat absorption.  

Have we lost our minds over weight…..?!  Has society become so crazy, that people are sitting around saying to themselves, hhmmmm, since I can’t control my own weight gain, I’ll torture my pet over his…!!!!
