This is your official reminder. The cost of a first class stamp through the United States Postal Service will be .41 cents effective midnight tonight.

More importantly, size and thickness will definitely matter beginning tomorrow as well.
Anything more than a 1/4″ thick, will now cost almost double the .41 cent per ounce price.

Check out www.usps.com for everything you need to know regarding the new increases again effective, tomorrow, Monday, May 14th, 2007.

The long and short of it is this:
US domestic first-class mail LETTER: 41 cent stamp
US international first-class mail LETTER to Canada: 69 cent stamp
US international first-class mail LETTER to almost-everywhere-else: 90 cent stamp

Here’s the link to buy new stamps on line. In fact, I better us it mayself, as I’ve got 2 coils of .39 cents stamps that are going to be useless on their own.
