Out of Town Guests

Over the weekend, I prepared a special menu for some very special friends and their family. They had traveled all the way from New York to visit, and deserved a special dinner.

Here’s the menu. Please forgive the not so attractiveness of the page…I’m having come technicals problems today.

An Evening With “The New Yorkers”
January 19th, 2008
7 pm

COCKTAIL STARTERS:
Ginger Fever
Lump Crab Stuffed Mushroom Caps

ENTREES:
Filet of Beef Tenderloin Served with a Cognac Peppercorn Sauce
Choice of Au Jus and/or Horseradish Sauce on the side
Asian Roasted Salmon
Twice the Cheddar Yukon Gold Scalloped Potatoes
Sautéed Green Beans with Garlic
Provencal Roasted Tomatoes

DESSERT:
Triple Chocolate Brownies
Scott’s Pie of Choice
Lemon Cheesecake Bites

BEVERAGES:
Beringer White Zinfandel
A Variety of Reds
Captain Morgan and Diet Coke with a Hint of Lime
Sparkling Water with Lemon
